Also, my apologies for taking so long to respond!

I think the intentional limit in scope you see in Konami's music games has more to do with their being niche arcade franchises as opposed to enormously popular mainstream entertainment in the vein of Guitar Hero (which, it's easy to forget, was something gutsy, new and likely to fail when originally released). That said, they do a good job of appealing to their target demographic in Japan, for the most part. They just do an insanely bad job of bridging the gap to the western world. That's probably the result of internal politics, though. So it goes.Jason Moseshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02795782897892652637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-926229951421055118.post-72382578520824708872009-12-03T09:57:09.646-07:002009-12-03T09:57:09.646-07:00Got here from GSW. Ha!

But Konami's crappy business strategies and seeming disdain for pleasing people has always made my head spin. They've got some great games that they purposefully limit in both scope (by practically always pulling music from their own stables they really miss out on a lot) and distribution.P.F.http://theothercastle.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
